You have got zero chance of any full service airline coming to EMA for the forseeable future. I cant see any expansion this coming year, just a consolidation year.
our airport has expanded in the wrong area's in some ways and the correct areas in others. Ryanair is great for the users of the airport, but what people want no a days is hub carriers to travel Long Haul. The EMA masterplan stated that they were hoping for routes to the Far East.............. Never Gonna happen. The airport has turned stale under Manchester Airports management. They are concentrating on MAN and thats where any expansion will occur
