They allow Taxi and Buses up to the terminal who says they they do not contain a bomb!!
Well when I flew from LBA last week the buses were stopped, a member of security came on and checked under the seats and around the bus.
Everyone is complaining about the situation at LBA. Why can't we just deal with and move on! If there was a bomb/terrorist activity at LBA then everyone would be like ooooooh stupid old LBA with rubbish security policies. People may be happy to criticise the situation, but if you (not specific to anyone) or one of your loved ones was involved with a security breach because of insufficient security then you would be the first to criticise!
And if LBA is such a 'deadly' place then bmi, Jet2, FlyBe, Eastern, Air Southwest, Ryanair, Thomsonfly, Thomas Cook, First Choice, Air Europa, Aer Arann, KLM etc etc must all have a deathwish .........
How about everyone gives LBA and its new owners a break! Sure its not perfect but things are chaning! I can think of many faults with other airports but people don't go on and on about them!!!
