Very, very sad news indeed. Met Paul Morgan a few years ago at a fly-in at Sywell. We were very surprised to see a P-51 suddenly taxi from the hangar. After he'd flown it we got talking to him; seemed a very affable chap. I shall always regret not taking up the offer of a ride in return for a 'contribution to Church funds.' One of those things that I shall probably regret for the rest of my life, but I was 'in some financial stress' at the time. Eerily I am just reading the Nov 2000 issue of Fly Past which features his Corsair on the cover, and a feature article on Paul and his aircraft - things take a little time to reach Oz!
