Tankengine I think you need to look at the facts. This is all under CAO48. Max flying 8 hour, max duty 11 rostered. The most I have done in 7 years with
VB is 750 hour. A qantas captain does not earn over $200,000 plus super doing only 750 hours. If I were doing 900 then I would be earning a hell of a lot more.
I don't do Brisbane perth return under CAO 48 or many of the other long duties that qantas are able to do. I look at the roster for the qantas guy up the road and shudder at some of the flights they do. Lets comape apples with apples.
