It's the screening that's such a pain more than the actual flying these days, you never know what to expect from one airport to the next, it's what puts me off flying more than anything and EMA certainly isn't the worst in this respect, I've had some nightmares at security and not just overseas, STN for example!
Our outbound security last week EMA to VLC was belts and shoes off but leave laptop in it's case in rucksack.
Coming back this Wednesday at VLC it was keep belt and shoes on but take laptop out of rucksack, out of it's case and open it up for inspection.
That's only 100% different security wise with those 3 items. As someone who flies quite a bit it just
me off to the extent that I get the train if I can, why should the rules be so different?
Most effecient baggage reclaim I've ever experienced at EMA by the way, bags on the belt waiting as soon as we appeared in the hall!
