Austro07 - sorry, but I don't think the second paragraph of your last comments actually reflect reality.
Looking at the November IOM Airport stats. EMX are down 9.5% overall on November 2006. FlyBe are up 17.8% against the combined BACON/FlyBe numbers for Nov. 2006.
EMX are down 11.8% on LPL and down 10.5% on LCY.
On MAN, EMX are up on 2006
, but their market share which was c48% over the last several months has dropped to 38%.
The Manx public are not stupid - they know EMX is about as Manx as Lufthansa, and will go where they can get cheap fares and reliability. Granted, for several months EMX had the upper hand on reliability, and FlyBe have a reputation to rebuild, but the gap seems to be closing on that front.
Don't get me wrong, I admire much of what EMX have achieved in the last 2/3 years, bearing in mind the reputational and financial mess the current management inherited from their predecessors, but they appear to be in an unequal battle in which there will only be one winner.
