It's nice to get rational discussion every now and then. Something sadly lacking from some of the posters here. Your points are well made and whether they appear to be out of a manual or not is moot. QR needs quality people in all areas of its operation. Not just flight crew.
QR will just not pay enough to get the personnel the company needs in EVERY area to fill the cracks in our defences. We are just lucky to have some of the competent people we have. Not enough though.
