Anyways to reply to the original post at jet there is a captain on the atr who is very happy but he does not have his family along, so from a expat point of view i see a lot of asian pilots with their families and kids going to the local schools and they seems happy as Larry
I think to appreciate india and its life you need alot of patience and maturity and an ability to look beyond what the eye sees.
If nothing else you will go back to your country and appreciate what you have there.
