I also heard a
completely unsubstantiated rumour that ANZ were going to look at purchasing A319s to replace the B733s. This would have the advantage of parts and training commonality with the A320s (which would then be the entire narrowbody jet fleet), which would result in cost savings, so would make sense. This is however, just a rumour
