excellent review flitefone
i'm glad someone is keeping positive despite some minor set backs - to be honest I think the Thomsonfly pull back is more to do with the emergency they had at Bournemouth and the suspension of two pilots... article in flight international about the almost near disaster in stalling the aircraft on final approach.
Bournemouth has one of the safest runways in the UK, on approach, so it must be pretty serious for the aircraft to have got into that state (aircraft system or pilot error will be revealed when the AAIB release findings.) apparently the crew were able to save the aircraft after switching from auto to manual control.
anyway... cant see easyJet or Ryanair missing the opportunity that the Thomosonfly withdrawl will have - some routes like Prague and Alicante attract large numbers of passengers at good yields - yields that easy and Ryanair can make work but Tfly probably cant. I have no doubt that 2008 will be very busy.
