We have been informed that suppliers are being owed,and in some cases they are no longer used and still outstanding bills are not settled.
Heard that one myself.
Payment in advance as we hear is the only reason why their catering supplier is in a position to supply.
And we are talking about an airline on the brink of going international. These pilots need to carry a lot of cash with them
The MD and his team however despite these financial irregularities command a lot of respect from existing suppliers due to ability to keep technical contractors,pilots and crew as well as general staff motivated.
The question is how long they can keep on like this. Face it, we are not talking pocket money in cash every time they have to pay for catering. And the management putting up a brave face towards the public does not cut it either in the long run.
