If you wish to discontinue your application I would ring candidate processing. I get through first time every time I have called (only twice about missing post) - ring after 1400 normally.
I would also speak to the med centre regarding if it was cured - all depends on what drugs they give you. Someone I know was made TMU for a year post application (potentially PMU) over the drugs they used for IBS. Be careful - steer clear of herbal remedies. If it is a yes to your curable question, I would get a list of 'safe' drugs/meds that you can take.
