Most Hours on an R22/type
I am just finishing off my FAA IR training in Arizona, the outfit I am doing it with work their machines damn hard. The IFR R22 I was flying today has 9500 hours, it's a 2001 machine and some of the VFR machines have 12000 hours.
This means rebuliding them every 12-18 months.
Anyone know of any worked harder than that, or other machines for that matter.
Obviously begs the old "I've had this broom for 20 years, 8 new brushes and 7 new handles" question though!
