I had the dubious honour of being the course "Grandad" at 30. I was the second of the 15 to get a job.
From what I heard, up to approx 35, they don't care whether you are 18 or 35, but above that age it gets more difficult but, of course, very far from impossible.
As things get tighter during the slow down, maybe youth will become an advantage; the old "age comensurate with experience" could rear its ugly head again?
