The writing has been on the wall for this route I think for some time. Bmi obviously are keeping it open to retain the slots, but the way they have messed us around with times of flights is ridiculous.
What they fail to realise is that having the international routes without the feeder routes is not going to help as passengers are not going to use Heathrow from up here. More people will start using the AMS flight, but it screws anyone trying to get to the south of England.
I am not going to battle the western bypass to get a flight south, I might as well just drive south. The railways are OK if going to the centre of London, but I don't work there, always need a car and am not going to hire a car in the centre of London.
