I am currently doing a university assignment about a start up airline and one section i must do is financial forecasting.
My problem is i just dont know how much people are paid so if anyone could help me out i would much appreciate it.
These are some facts that may help determine what kind of wages would be expected.
- The airline is based in the south of england (not LHR or LGW)
- It would only fly to destinations across Europe
- The airline airline is not low cost and not a full fare airline (somewere in the middle)
- For the purpose of the report i have given the airline a choice of aircraft, either an A319 or an Embraer 195 (this would maybe allow me to compare operating costs to some extent)
Q1... What would be a trypical 'market rate for Captain, first officer, senior CC and remainder cabin crew be?
Q2... If either of these aircraft had a dual class configuration would it be better to have for example instead of 2/3 crew would 2/4 be better in order to serve the business cabin?
Q3... How many sets of crew would be sufficient per aircraft? ie one crew flying, one crew on day off, one crew on standby and another crew just in case?
I am not asking for individual wages but i would just like a few food numbers from a few that would know more than i obviously do to shep some light so i can get down to some number crunching.
