I know this is the wrong place to post this, well wrong forum...

However, i know there are some very clever people here and always provide accurate information.

What i am doing is a refuelling assignment, starts with a third world type of setup and ends with modern. I have figured out the modern, using pumps, etc...

What i can do is this way.

Fuel is stored 20m above ground, and is fed via a 100m long and 125mm diameter line. Friction factor is 0.008 and the K Factors are, Tank Exit = 0.5, bend = 0.9 and Value = 1.0.

Assume liquid to be water and not oil/fuel.

I cant find an equation to figure this out, pretty sure there are plenty but i am feeling stupid as i cant find them.

I had ago at using newtons laws to figure it out, but couldnt take into account the line length or diameter so now i am at a loss.

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks
