British Columbia Institute of Technology

Anybody had experience or knowledge about BCIT. I heard that BCIT is an approved TO by EASA 147 for Avionics.

Note from the Quality Assurance Director:
Our present TC-approved avionics course falls just short of the required hours for EASA certification. We need to add 60 hours to our course and that is mainly comprised of a full module on Physics and Mathematics. There are an additional 13 exams for the students to write (and 3 essays) before EASA certification can be granted. At this point, we're offering the two modules and exams as an "industry service" model.
We are EASA Part 147 approved and this fellow would be eligible for certification on completion of the BCIT avionics program with the additional modules.

Thanks
