That was my initial thought as well. As it must be on a E195, they probably will not be able to fill it at IOM or NQY, so splitting the capacity between the two smalish markets and offering the spare capacity on IOM-NQY for local travel makes some sense. Not sure, though, who might be interested in a weekly service between NQY and IOM. I don't think too many people from Cornwall are holidaying on the rock and Fragglerockfolk are not to keen to spend their holidays in Cornwall either. For business travellers the service is, of course, quite useless.
