I emailed the ELC team at the Town Hall to find out when the new link to the M1 will be finished. They replied that they have no idea as they are still waiting for the revised timetable from the contractor. They had hoped it would be open next month but are hoping now it will still open at the end of March.
Looking at the site today the earth works from the Luton Hoo bridge to the Gypsy Lane roundabout has still to be started. Can’t see it happening by that date somehow.
