Speaking as a non-flying manager sort of person, working the usual office hours:
 The job itself
The people you work with (especially your boss)
 Location
 Time off
 Salary
Oppertunity to further ones qualifications, for instance an Aviation MBA paid by company
Having a mate who can organize jollies in a Stearman
Getting involved in shaping the industry, i.e. participating in IATA working groups
Getting involved with something really interesting, like being on the project team doing the implementation work for a fleet of shiny new aeroplanes
Moi? All but (3) fits my present job - could well do with homebase being somewhere warmer and sunnier. And, of course, anyone could do with a bit more dosh at the end of the month - myself included.
