You will need to pay for your own parking at the airport.
Last time I parked in the short term car park at Melbourne I nearly had to take out a second mortgage to pay the fees. This could become quiet an expensive little exercise. I guess the only other options are catch the Skybus, buy a motorbike (can they still get in/out for free?) or park at maccas/bp servo/holiday inn.
