e statement a while ago that the airline business is loosing money world-wide. This is not true at all . On the contrary some airlines are enjoying net margins of 20-30% and even the more prominent guys like BA LH etc are above 7% which the manufacturing industry will beg to have.
If anyone is privvy to reports from Goldman, Merrill, Morgan etc you got it in black and white.
