Bad luck!! Sorry to hear you didnt make it through.
However try not to see it as a waste of time. You have made it through the theory test, some don't even pass that.
Stage 2 with the doctor is always tricky. Its a 95% failure rate. As you can see there is no real way to prepare for that stage.
There is no other airline who is prepared to pay for you to attend their selection, (tickets and hotel). Think of it as a learning experience, even though its very frustrating!!
I agree no other airline in Europe (and believe me I've called or talked to workers at everyone) is prepared to pay for your hotel, but what you lose with hotel you gain with T's and C's.
