It looks as though the A310-300 could do it non-stop.
But, which version did Shaheen acquire.
Also an interesting comment from the past when the route was being considered at the time.I don't know which airline it was probably PIA.
Ed Anderson stated at a presentation which I attended, that the airport had spoken with Airbus and the conclusion was the A330 would have no problems flying to Islamabad non-stop with a full passenger load from LBA.
I think the route will be very successful because those who will use it are usually seen off by large groups of relatives.When they use Manchester they probably need to hire a bus.
