India Four Two. THe Eastbourne Flying Club is the correct answer
I think the EFC on the hangar may have given it away. The airfield was known as Wilmington Aerodrome and was located on the A27 near Alfriston. Apparently between the wars, this was the home of Eastbourne Flying Club. At the top end of the field there was a brick built, white painted Control Tower and one, or possibly two wooden hangers. During the summer months in the thirties an air display was held. This photograph was taken at such a function in 1935.
