Not heard anything about that. This EASA document mentions a Notice of Proposed Amendment to JAR-FCL 3 that is "largely editorial improvements", but I haven't been able to find any more information. I think it's unlikely that there'd be any significant change to JAR-FCL 3 so soon after the last one. Also, with the transition of responsibility for Flight Crew Licencing standards from JAA to EASA, any proposed change is likely to take a long time to work its way through the system.


Meanwhile, it looks like the UK CAA continues to lobby for the removal of refraction limits: see section 5.3 of the Minutes of the 26th Meeting of the Civil Aviation Medicine Forum. No idea what the outcome of that was.
