Petit extrait d'un echange de mails que j'ai eu avec le "JAA Licensing Sectorial Team Co-ordinator" lorsque je lui avait expose mon probleme de reconnaissance de licence.
[...]I was aware some years ago that the French were not accepting some UK JAR-FCL licences without further formality. But I presumed that the earlier problems were over, but sadly they appear to be still with us.
[...]There is nothing the JAA can do when the French do not recognise the UK CAA issued licence. They perceive that the training for the licence in the US was outside of the JAR-FCL requirements, which it was but the UK CAA have no choice but to grant an approval for an FTO overseas that meets the JAR-FCL requirements.
Tous ceci n'aurait aucune importance si AF (et ses filliales...) n'etait pas la seule compagnie europeenne a exiger des candidats une licence francaise alors que les autres demandent une licence JAR...
Ce sont des pilotes AF qui font partit des "comites d'experts" a la DGAC ceci explique cela.
