Do you think 4000 hours using autopilot makes someone better??
There has to be a line drawn somewhere.
You prefer landings to hours? Manual to automated flying?
I's all debatable but in this specific case it's EK's call.
They will eventually lower the requirement, but i'm afraid it will still be hours.
