Well deek, you obviously have never had to fork out for a 604/605 type rating!!!Let me enlighten you on some figures .
$36000 for a recurrent ,yes recurrent not initial.
Initial around$40000 then add on international proceedures rvsm mnps,hire of a plane & TRE to do your six circuits £1000 a day ,aircraft at £4000/hr if you can persuade some owner to let you borrow it to do circuits!! £2500 for 605 differences then the cost of air tickets to the states/canada hotels plus loss of earnings & what do you suggest we charge?
