Well I wouldn't suggest people 'lie' either. But, myself and many others have got through without having a full,unfrozen ATPL. You have to take your licence and log book to selection day but they don't send you packing if it's a blue rather than a green book. Everyone there on the day with a CPL has been through the online application, haven't they....do what you need to do.
If you are worried about not answering the question honestly, consider this:
If you click 'no', your application is terminated. If you click 'yes' and by some streak of misfortune someone deep inside BA recruitment finds out you have 'lied' after being through selection, along with hundreds of other people, are they going to terminate you then? Answers on a postcard....
