Soroye also disclosed, Afrijet has secured Air Operators’ Certificate (AOC)
of the European Union, thus making the airline the first African operator to
hold dual AOCs, European and Nigerian.
What this means, Soroye explained, is that Afrijet airlines, with a
registered office in Verona, Italy, can now operate unhindered in other
parts of Europe as Afrijet Europe.
Capt Noelle also noted that the vision to register Afrijet Europe as a sister
airline was to ensure that passengers of Afrijet Nigeria , which has
designations to Lyon ( France ) and Madrid ( Spain ), are distributed
seamlessly to points beyond.
