Licence Requirements

Guys/gals,

Just to clear this one up. You DO NOT need a full/unfrozen licence (ie a GREEN book) to apply to BA as a DEP. That's what I think they mean when they say a 'ATPL(F)'.

The wording "You will have a full UK issued JAA/CAA ATPL(F)" is a little ambiguous I feel: basically you need a minimum of JAA CPL and ATPL exam theory credits, which you surely must already be in possession of to have flown an aircraft >10tonnes/20 seats! (as stated in the requirements too).

A further tip when applying, the program asks if you have 'Performance A' - I understand this was the old exam before the JAR exams came into being, I didn't have this but had the JAR 'Performance' exam credit - tick yes and you will be fine.

SNAM: Sorry, but I think your information is incorrect.

Good luck to all applying.
