B777 Capt 10 years in company two kids (one primary school, one secondary)
Clear savings AED 13700 (USD3700). This includes provident fund contributions (excluding company) and payment on overseas investments.
Not in company accommodation so require AED 3800 to top up mortgage and approx 2500 for DEWA but the capital appreciation is worth it. Home currency is USD so no ERP. Have to be quite diciplined with saving now that exchange rate is plummeting however still have a good qualty of life.
