Does anyone have a view on the commercial potential of a route linking NQY and a city in Brittany, either Brest and/or /Lorient, Rennes, Nantes?
Maybe it would have to be seasonal, but there's certainly a lot of cultural and other exchanges between Cornish towns and their Breton counterparts. I guess most of this traffic uses the Plymouth-Roscoff ferry at present. Plenty of scope for weekend breaks and shopping trips too.
If the timings were right, the route(s) could also pick up transfer traffic from ORK to NQY. Or do Aer Arann already operate Cork-Brittany direct?
Just a thought.
