Clue 1;
I last landed an aircraft here on 9th July 1970 (VC10 G-ARVL). Since then time has stood still (for the airport, not for me). The check-in desks, passport control and cafes are still as I remember them. The runways are intact. However there are no passengers to walk through these doors.
Clue 2;
The doors of this European airport were locked in 1974
