Even the Ops dept at Flymaybe haven't managed to cock up their R/T callsign
Granted they inherited it, but: "Jersey XXX, route direct Jersey, contact Jersey XXX.X"
At least it doesn't happen too often.
As for DAT, our strips still say Estail so the pilots still get called incorrectly occasionally (by those who haven't read their notices
) and generally the pilots get on with it, politely pointing out they're now Brussels. I guess out of sight, out of mind - I'd never considered the Brussels confusion.
