Rather than making it a sticky from time to time after one of those sets of new wannabe threads is started every few weeks and then 'unsticking' it again after couple days, wouldn't it be advisable to just leave it as a sticky 'forever'?
I am aware that a lot of forums can get quite 'messy' with a lot of stickys at the beginning, but one or two surely wouldn't hurt especially if it is a topic like this one that is hard to find due to the thread title. Just my 2 cents.
