I did my conversion about 3 years ago cost about £14000 but I know a bloke who converted after me to an Irish licence which cost far less. As mentioned up a few posts there is a requirement for 15 hours IFR which is where the biggest cost comes in but from memory that isn't needed for the Irish licence, just the IFR flight test along with the commercial flight test I think. The Irish licence can then be converted to a British one, worth looking into anyway.
