Emirates is now the first airline to operate to all 5 continents NON-STOP from ONE-HUB. Pan Am, SAA, Lutfhansa, KLM and the rest do fly to all the continents themselfs, but not non stop and not from one central hub like Dubai.
If I remember it right, BA flew years back (and is still flying) NON-STOP from ONE-HUB (LHR) to the following destinations: HKG, SYD, GIG, JNB, NRT, JFK, LAX, YVR, PEK, BKK, SIN, JED, IGI, NBO, CAI, and EZE to name a few.
Also, BA has been flying to all Euro capitals non-stop from LHR.
