Good observation and I am not on the freighter.
I get my info from freight pilots. Being called in the hotel for delayed operations and numerous changes in crew direct.

Seems 080 will be delayed out of ANC. If the crew go down stairs at the original start time and find out it is delayed. Well at the 4 hour mark, the flight duty should start. Depending on how long it is delayed, you may not be able to complete the duty.
Which part is a blatant lie, is it ever on time, applying the AFTL’s, or not being able to complete your duty?
Please don’t be offended, there are many Passenger Pilots that don’t apply the AFTL’s either. It’s that fear thingy keeps popping up.
