Hypothetically speaking, if you were a SNCO posted into a relatively busy one man section and after, say 14 months in post, said section was closed in what was a purely cost cutting exercise. You were then moved to another section with the promise of promotion if you took your original primary task with you and carried out both full time jobs, in addition to now working shifts. Then after a further say 10 months still not promoted, but will be soonish because PMA have solved the problem by promoting someone else...... would you be happy
