I would be surprised if this was not being considered with ongoing negotiations with the Council.
The Council would have absolutely
no interest whereas LLAO would be very keen. This is simply because LBC gets nothing from Luton's corporate movements or their pax ~ the income generated goes staright into LLAO's bank account and stays there.
Where LLAO is becoming less keen on corporate flights is during the peak hours when the available runway slots are tight, and it's aim is to meet the airlines' movement requirements.
Is this a real flight, a much-delayed charter, a hint of a new service or a cock-up?
Volare S.p.A (founded in April 2006 following its purchase of all the activities conducted by Volare Group and its subsidiary companies Volare Airlines and Air Europe) currently operates schedules into the UK only to Manchester ex. Milan/Malpensa. Presumably therefore, this was a proposed series of charter flights.
