Mk Airlines Ltd
Whilst not immediately relevant to Manston, it is noted that a third airframe of MK's fleet (9G-MKU) has now been issued a UK Registration. It appears that Boeing 747-249F is about to become G-MKEA, the CAA website quotes it as "Awaiting Certification". There had been a rumour that MK were going to re-register their fleet and this would seem to support that idea. No doubt it will be a vistor from time to time, hopefully loaded with freight.
Since these aircraft will now come under the scrutiny of the CAA, I wonder if this presages MK's return to the UK as an operating base.
