Good news, I imagine, for all those
ab-initios on the CTC-
wings Programme from which EJ sources its low-hours FO's. For the rest of us, this period of "consolidation" in the airline industry with various corporate restructuring and mergers/acquisitions suggests a possible lull in recruitment. Having followed the BALPA EOC thread (
http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=289633) this seemed to be the message from those who attended. However, the short term effects should be offset by an increase in efficiency that will promote long term growth leading to sustained recruitment.
