So what about the latest announcement of an A380 / B748 competition?
B748 would fit seemlessly into the LGW fleet, and the A380's already on order for 2013 aren't exactly being rushed into service...
But maybe the A380 gives a capacity benefit where it could be best used (eg. 1 A380 to MCO on light days rather than 2 744?)...
