The great unwashed don't care about the forces any more because they can't think for themselves and rely totally on the media to tell them what to do. Flowers at every crash site in the country, teddy bears, football jerseys and stage managed cry-ins whenever the cameras roll...............
The counselling industry has been set up to take advantage of this and when it comes to real sacrifice, it just isn't newsworthy any more.
