Ah, good old RED; many fond memories from my PPL and CPL there.
Guarantee you will become proficient at x-wind landings; I've never had any bother with x-wind after learning there! Gotta say though, when it's hot (and it do get hot there) you will one day be very glad of those extra few metres of bitumen. Old FRF (Archer) still on-line there?
Have found the ATC at CS to be top-notch. Never a quibble on any request - except the day I went blonde and asked for B1 when RWY 33 was active
