PR purposes.

....WHY THE HELL NOT?!
Each time I see a thread like this (started only in July when the IAF came to Waddo), I visit it again and again - and not to mention forwarding the link to friends!
There are plenty of photographers out there who can take a half decent photograph, and some parts of the RAF do use them.
Unfortunately there is also a lot of photographers out there who can't take a decent shot, or don't know how to use some basic photoshop operations to tidy their pictures up.
If you like to look at aircraft pics, you should look in on UKAR, or Warplane, to name but a few. The last thing you want, is every swinging dick with a digital camera, posting their pics on here.
