Maybe not quite what you were looking for, but SAA landed a retiring 747 at Rand airport (FAGM) for permanent display at the museum there. It's only 1712 Mtrs long at an elevation of 1671 Mtrs! There is a video of it here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap_ny...elated&search=
